How is the weather like in July in Northern Thailand? Specially in Chiang Mai area? - how many days do you need in chiang mai
Hello everyone,
I am planning a visit of 15 days in Thailand and I intend to spend a week in the area of Chiang Mai.
I intend to see temples, spend a day at the Elephant Sanctuary and a few day trips from Chiang Mai, or visit one of the tribes of the mountains, if possible. I also think about renting a bike and a few trips from Chiang Mai.
I want to know how is the weather in Chiang Mai, in mid-July? Is this a good idea to visit in July?

The quick reaction of the matter is that the weather will be hot and humid. The hottest of the last few years, but the rains have started a year ago. This is the weakest part of the year for tourists. From November to February is the most popular time of year to visit.
But ... There are good days and there is still much to do. Be flexible in your planning and enjoy the warm days in which to rent a bike.
The climate is humid, but usually a flash rain that lasts about half an hour there is no rain, after about 20 minutes.
It's hot, but not as hot as in other regions of Thailand.
Sounds like a good way for me, and in July for what you are not ideal. If you are a photographer, of any kind we are very happy to take pictures in the temples.
On the go-hilltruibes zoos are of humans. Its definitely not my thing, but otherwise it seems you have a great time.
